My First Mothers Day

My sister (Laura), mother (Linda) and me, toast mothers day 2010. This is my new favorite pic. It symbolizes something that I never would even dare dream could ever be - me, sitting with my mother and sister who I love so much, and be accepted as another woman and mom in our family. Its love... and a welcome new beginning from a long road home.

I love you momma!

Now with a quiet word in the ear of Quan Yin, we can hopefully set about defrosting the other one so dear to you.

  6. I am so happy for you Chloe. I think as much as the loss of a spouse the loss of mom, either in death or rejection , is nearly unbearable to us women. So far my mom has been my ally.

  7. To paraphrase what Lana has said in times past, the beauty of the trip is in the journey, not in reaching the destination.

May you have many more wonderful journeys!

  19. Some things are worth working and waiting for. It can make reaching the destination more meaningful. To many times we take these relationships for granted and then it is to late. Cherish and enjoy.

  24. Chloe, I just saw the entire ABC interview, I laughed, I cried, and I am a straight man who also happens to be a Christian.

I don’t understand why you were born the way you were with the XXY chromosomes, it was beyond your control. Knowing what I now know about you and your wife, I have so much respect for you and her for staying together.

If the two of you decided to ever become intimate with each other I would not condemn nor would I see you as two promiscuous lesbians, because this is not the way it began, and its obvious that your commitment to each other is so strong and has so much meaning to both of you.

    God Bless You
